2 Stories of HOPE and SACRIFICE
Today I shed my tears after reading 2 news, one is about Mariam Johari who has been stranded in Korea for 64 years and had finally been able to meet her 3 children, and another one the story about life-at-stake little girl Tee Hui Yee who depended hopelessly with a mechanical heart, until recently she got transplanted with a new heart from a donor, who died from an accident.
The first story really touch my heart as if I was watching a tear-jerking Korean movies/dramas. Although this news is not new compared to the latter, I just happen to read the chronology of the news from http://www.nst.com.my/Current_News/NST/Monday/National/20070910115748/Article/index_html and nurture a massive interest for the whole story, inflicted by mother’s instinct shown by halmoni (grandmother in Korean) Mariam Johari. She has suffered a lot from all of the journeys of life that she has been gone through.
Any story of a hopeless girl would be likely to make me feel sad, because I always compared it with my own sister. A long wait for about one year which almost made her feel like want to give up, not until a humble and whole-heartedly family consent the donation from their boy’s organ to be transplanted.
I admire the strength of Mariam Johari, the love of her Malaysian and Korean children, the durability of Hui Yee, and the modesty of the heart-donor’s family..

Selfishness
Let say your friend do something which in turn makes you feel really irritated, just feel like want to punch him/her on her face. But of course, you don’t have all the nerves to do that because he/she is your friend, moreover he/she may one of your close friend. What makes the state even worse is that you also don’t have the strength to advise him/her, as you don’t want to make him/her feel tense against you. For the very reason like, “Oh, we’ve known for more than 5 years”, “It is his/her natural habit”, “I always get used to it” and blah blah blah to satisfy your ownself. Of course he/she has his/her own kindness towards you, but in the other hand he/she is being selfish in his/her own way. Don’t be proud yet, if you think that you are good because you think you are not selfish. In contrast, you as his/her friend is even more selfish for not to advise and correct him/her. Well, maybe it is because of your ego? Think about it..

Jalan Masjid India
I can say that this place is the most busiet road in KL during Ramadhan. Last Wednesday I went there with my friends, Rusdy and Asuat. Rusdy were looking for some clothes before he further his study in Germany. And as farewell treat, he sponsored our 'buka puasa' dishes, which is Kombo Ria @ KFC, thanks to their nice commercial featuring Kuah Sate. As for Asuat and me, we also happened to buy some for our own. I buy a purplish colour Baju Melayu, and Asuat buy a stripe long-sleeve shirt (again!). At the time I type this entry, I think Rusdy might be in the plane already. Sayonara my friends! (^_^)

Shop, till u sob!
Why did I said that? Bcoz that will happen if I shop recklessly, bcoz I ain't have much money! So, I should 'buat reti sikit..' But then again, I do have some fondness into shopping..well, I like to see things. However that doesn't conclude that I'm materialistic, shopaholistic or what so ever. Speaking of Raya celebration, it is unusual for me to have each year buying a new Baju Melayu. And sometimes I prefer to buy only the 'baju', because it is very exceptional for me, let say in a year, to regularly wear one complete Baju Melayu with Seluar Melayu ( should it be cited like this? ;-p )

(About) 15 days left!
With that remark, I'm not sure whether I should be happy or sad. If I am to be happy, is it bcoz there are half way to finish Ramadhan, and Hari Raya will then appear, or should I be sad instead, bcoz my obligations to Allah is still unsufficient? Yup, definitely..the latter is the answer for me... ;-(

It is the 6th day (already?)
It is already 6th day of Ramadhan. Alhamdulillah, I'm fasting happily, sahur sleepily, iftar or 'buka puasa' accordingly and terawih (night prayer during Ramadhan) sincerely. Usually during fasting month, I'll go to mosques near my KL home and 'buka puasa' there, of course, because it is free ^_^ And it is all thanks to Allah The Al-Mighty for this barakah. But I have a lot of responsibilities yet to achieve, as a Muslim, as son and as a student (still? huhu..) Within this month, I pray to Allah S.W.T. to give me strength, to accomplish and hence fulfill those responsibilities, while Ramadhan Al-Mubarak is still in the air..
